It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of H&M Home - I think the designs, the quality of the pieces and reasonable price points all combine to produce some of the best shopping on the high street when it comes to interior accessories.
So maybe I’ve been living under a (Scandi minimal) rock as when it comes to the range they carry from Fifty Five South - I don’t know if this is a recent brand addition to their homeware selection or if it’s always been there - but I did like what I discovered…
Said discovery came about whilst I was browsing the H&M New In section - this activity has become something of a sport for me - have you ever participated? Coffee in hand, I take a leisurely scroll through the selection, predicting what’s going to be a sell-out and routinely pop up on some of my favourite interiors blogs. Sometimes I’ve caved and added to bag myself - two of my favourite vases were found this way. Unsurprisingly it was vases I was perusing on this occasion - predictable I know - when I came across the Hexa Ceramic Vase.
Further investigation revealed a whole host of Fifty Five South decorative accessories and furniture, all with that signature H&M vibe - a lot of it trend based but if chosen carefully and mingled with staples and vintage items - capable of creating an overall look that becomes unique and personal to the home it resides in.

Whilst some of the pieces were a little too detailed for me - there were plenty of items I could happily see blending in and adding character to any home worthy of the Scandi Rustic hashtag. I especially loved the Dax Oval Dish and the Olena Trinket Box and may have dropped some very unsubtle hints to those in the know about Mother’s Day being not too far away.
Take a look at Fifty Five South here at H&M and let me know if you see anything you like…
